Record Videos for University Coursework with a Teleprompter

For students all over the world, this year has been like no other - it’s probably not been what anyone expected they would experience when applying to higher education.

The strains and pressures are being felt by all, and yet one constant remains - you’re still being asked to give presentations. These might be in the form of a reading for English, giving evidence on a Law course, or showing your workings on an experiment.

Whatever the case, presenting in front of your class and lecturers was one thing - now you also have to figure out how to film yourself too.

With Camflare, this doesn’t need to be complicated. As a student, you can sign up for free and access our in-built teleprompter which is fully customisable from font to size to speed.

Upload your script - in note form or in full, whichever works best for you, When you’re ready to record, this will appear in front of your face - meaning no more awkwardly looking down or to the side to access your notes! In fact, we’ve made a handy guide for how to use our teleprompter, which you can read here.

You’re able to practice beforehand, and, if you need, re-record before you send. Once you’re happy with what you’ve created, you can download it or share it right away with a simple click.

I produce multiple videos weekly and this is a great solution to remember scripts!

If you’re a lecturer, why not create a session in Camflare which allows you to send out a single link to all your students and automatically uploads to one place on Dropbox? It’ll save you so much time collecting and downloading files, and if you’ve selected our ‘prompt for name’ option, it’ll keep your files nicely organised too.

If you’re teaching multiple classes, create separate links for each. On upload, these will automatically save in their individual folders so that they’re easy to find. If your assignment has a time limit to it, you can even set that as a limit for the recording, ensuring that no-one goes over.

We created Camflare during lockdown with the intention of making lives easier whilst we can’t do everything in person.

Our aim is to innovate and connect people, and we’re growing every day to meet demand and expand creatively.
